What is the purpose of pasteurizing small-scale productions?

Pasteurization for small-scale production ensures the safety of your food while preserving its qualities. It destroys most pathogenic microorganisms present in milk, juices, or other liquid preparations, thereby reducing the risk of foodborne illnesses. Eco-Pasto® is a manual pasteurizer designed for small-scale production, using continuous pasteurization technology. This approach ensures precise and uniform heating of your products, guaranteeing food safety while preserving their nutritional and organoleptic qualities.

The manual operation of Eco-Pasto® simplifies start-up and process control, providing artisanal or semi-industrial producers with great flexibility. Depending on your needs, the unit can process between 250 and 500 liters per hour, with an adjustable thermal range from 60°C to 85°C, allowing pasteurization to be adapted to different types of products.

Pasteurization Time by Production Capacity:

  • 1.5 minutes at 80°C for 500 liters/hour → 4,000 liters per day (8 hours of production)

  • 3 minutes at 80°C for 250 liters/hour → 2,000 liters per day (8 hours of production)

Eco-Pasto® is compatible with products having a viscosity of 1 to 10 cP and containing particles smaller than 1 mm, making it suitable for a wide range of liquid preparations. Energy can be supplied via hot water or steam, depending on capacity or existing client facilities.
