The position is based in Mâcon (71) and is available as soon as possible on a permanent contract.
Attractive remuneration based on experience, comprising a fixed salary and a variable component, representing a gross annual salary of between €32,000 and €45,000.

• You will report to the Production Manager, working in a workshop of around twenty people.
• You will cut, bend, shape, polish, TIG/MAG weld and assemble parts from sheet metal, profiles and tubes in stainless or carbon steel.
• You use 2D and 3D drawings supplied by the Mechanical Engineering Department to build the planned structures.
• Once all the parts have been manufactured, you correct any defects found. Quality is essential in all our manufacturing processes.
• You will be part of a department of excellence, where technical level and quality of work are everyone’s priorities.

Main actions

• Familiarize yourself with, read and understand the drawings supplied for the production of parts and equipment
• Integrate the expectations and objectives of the production manager to meet deadlines and allocated budgets
• Cut and shape parts according to the drawings supplied, while managing offcuts and surplus material
• Bend parts and prepare elements for the assembly stages
• Assemble parts and structural elements using various processes (TIG tacking, TIG welding, bolting, etc.). ) parts and structural components
• Organize the work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Carry out non-destructive testing (video-endoscopy, pressure testing and direct visual testing) and correct any errors
• Finish parts by polishing/cleaning
• Carry out first-level maintenance work and monitor the industrial equipment used
• Temporary reinforcement of the assembly department at the request of the planning department to carry out tasks involving the assembly of metal structures by riveting or screwing.

• Training: CAP/BEP to Bac pro boilermaking, locksmithing, welding or piping.
• Significant experience as a boilermaker (2 to 3 years).
• You are proficient in TIG welding with and without filler metal.
