The position is based in Mâcon (71) and is available as soon as possible on a permanent contract.
Attractive remuneration based on experience, comprising a fixed salary and a variable component, representing a gross annual salary of between €32,000 and €45,000.

Assignments

  • You will report to the Production Manager, working in a workshop of around twenty people.
  • You will build piping networks, skids, manifolds and process circuits in stainless steel (304L, 316L, SAF 2507) or carbon steel.
  • You use 3D or PID drawings to build the networks, and may use manual welding equipment or orbital welders, depending on the project.
  • Once all the parts have been manufactured, you will correct any defects found. Quality is essential in all our manufacturing processes.
  • You will be part of a department of excellence, where technical level and quality of work are everyone’s priorities.

Main actions

  • Familiarize yourself with, read and understand the drawings provided for the production of parts and equipment
  • Integrate the expectations and objectives of the production manager to meet deadlines and budgets
  • Shape, punch, weld, calibrate and perform finishing operations (pickling, cleaning, polishing) on piping
  • Assemble components to obtain sub-assemblies
  • Organize the work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Perform non-destructive testing (video-endoscopy, pressure and direct visual tests) and correct any errors
  • Take measurements on the various customer sites or parts of current projects
  • Check the conformity of parts produced by applying the rules of self-checking
  • Welding would be a plus
  • Finish parts by polishing/cleaning
  • Carry out first-level maintenance work and monitor the industrial equipment used
  • Travel to customer sites to carry out piping installations in accordance with the expectations of the Customer Service Manager (30 to 40% of time within the Rhône Alpes area at present)

Your profile

  • Training: Bac STI2D, ROC, Bac pro chaudronnerie/tuyauterie or BTS CRCI.
  • Significant experience as a pipefitter (2 to 3 years).
  • Human qualities essential to the job: precise and attentive, enjoy working with and changing products, willingness to progress and challenge yourself.
