Biopharmaceutical processing : sterilization  
 

ACTINI has designed a unique process aimed at sterilizing small quantities of biological effluents classified as BSL1, 2 & 3:

  • Pathology laboratories effluents (serologies, blood tests)
  • Forensics department effluents
  • Animal laboratories effluents (prions)
  • R&D effluents (GMO)

Operating principle

  • Effluents are stored in a buffer tank
  • Automatic inlet of the effluents in the heating section when the minimum level is reached inside the tank
  • The effluents are pressurised at 145°C before being cooled and evacuated after completion of the sterilization cycle
  • Passive securization (automatic shutting down in case of power outing)

  • Total traceability: visual control in real time, data recording and storage for vizualisation of the past cycles
