OPERATIONAL DESCRIPTION
- Product Supply
Humid centrifuged egg shells are fed into the vibrating body by a dosing auger made from stainless steel.
- Drying Plate
The egg shells are delivered through two entry shutters which regulate the feeding thickness of the incoming product on the drying plate.
- Vibrating Body
The drying plate is installed in the vibrating body. The egg shells are moved forward thanks to the vibration and at the same time are dried by the heated air conveyed by electric fans under the drying plate.
- Discharge Hopper
At the end of the vibrating body the dried product is collected by a conveying hopper.
- Drying Plate Cover
The drying air is drawn out from the vibrating body through the pipe connected with the cyclone dust collector.
- Cyclone
Egg shell dust and particles of membranes are efficiently removed from the exhaust air inside the cyclone and transferred further to joint the dried product. The cleaned air is led away through the upper discharging duct.
- Air recycling system
From the exhaust duct the discharged air is partially recollected by fan to be recycled then in the drying process in order to optimise energy consumption.
- Centrifugal Fan
Connected to the vibrating body the centrifugal fan of high performance delivers the heated air to the beginning of a drying cycle.
- Gas Burner
Gas flow and pressure are controlled by modulating valves. The drying air temperature is automatically maintained at the rate of 220°C.
- Electrical Panel
Thermal treatment is constantly controlled along with the drying temperature recorded on a paper roll.
